2 weeks to go AAARRGHHHHHH

well i have now done 2 5k's.....the one at Bellahouston and the fun run at Ruchill......I was much better prepared for Ruchill and jogged at an even pace then ran at the end....much better, i wasnt out of breath and my face wasnt so red!!!

looking forward to the 10k....there is 9 of us running together but we will probably break up and run/jog/walk at our own paces.......the off to Times Square for a meal when its finished xxx

It has been soo great being part of the campaign and i aim to keep the running/jogging up.......

My next incentive to get fot is for my wedding this October.......so theres no stopping me now.......

I definately have the running/jogging bug xx

two 5k's coming up.....in prep for the 10k.....

hello again....well i have signed up for yet another fun run ....this time in Ruchill...just down the road....its a 5k on Sunday 25th April and kids can run walk or jog too....you can even take the pram??/..........looking forward to this one as its a super hero theme.......

I have got my 5k at bellahouston on Sunday 28th March.......so i have been continuing to run in the morning while my wee boy Max is at nursary........

My friends have also caught the keep fit bug too.....i think this is also partly because i am getting married in October and this is the incentive to keep going............fantastic xxx

new to blogging.....

hello there

Sorry I havent been on for a while....i am sooo looking forward to the womans 10K race in May....

After Christmas I then had to go in for a laparoscopy operation so I feel as though I am behind in my training for the race.......feeling much better I have started going to my classes again which has improved my fitness levels.....I love body attack and body combat.....

It was funny seeing a big poster of myself the other day in town.....I had to stop and take a photo...ha ha .........the running is coming on gradually........as I am not a runner.....I have started using the gym and the walking machine using the incline for 20 mins then swapping to a run...this has definately helped me improve my pace and the more I go the longer I last.......


My main reason for doing the 10k is to raise as much money as I can for the Big Build .....my friends and family are all running with me too in memory of my mum......I cant wait to the day...its such a great atmosphere as well as being very emotional too.....

So my plans for the next few weeks are to continue going to my classes and improve my running....I have the fun run at the end of March which is at Bellahouston this will gage how I do running a 5k.........
